Calling on experience gained in a lengthy career in Mergers & Acquisitions, Martin assists business owners of small to medium-sized businesses with the sale of their company. Providing support in the areas of business valuations, confidential marketing, attracting/screening buyers, negotiation and closing of deals that provide value for both sides of the transaction.
Acquisition experience includes dealing with owner/operators, corporate entities, private investors as well as equity groups. Acquisition targets varied from small in-fill businesses to strategic acquisitions – both in terms of new fields within the industry as well as new geographic areas.
Martin has also worked as an independent software consultant, specializing in consolidation, financial reporting and business intelligence solutions. His mandate in this area was the design, implementation and maintenance of consolidation and reporting applications for corporate clients with multiple business units. Special projects related to the integration of new acquisitions as well as the carve out of entities to be divested. Industries served include manufacturing, mining, distribution, insurance and service providers.
