Steve works with buyers and sellers of businesses throughout Northern Ontario. In recognizing the need for business brokerage services for entrepreneurs in Northern Ontario, Steve brings a professional approach as well as the ability to evaluate and analyze the needs of each client on an individual basis. He understands the sensitivity of a business transaction and enjoys working with clients to structure transactions to appropriately suit their requirements.
Steve has over 10 years of experience providing private and public companies M&A, corporate finance and investment banking services. Prior to joining Sunbelt, Steve was Vice President, Investment Banking for a number of independent and global investment banks serving corporate clients across a broad spectrum of industries.
Steve is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) a global designation earned through the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) for professionals engaged in business brokerage and mergers and acquisitions. Steve is also a Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser (CMEA) and earned a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance (Honours) from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University. Steve is also a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Ontario. Current professional affiliations include: International Business Brokers Association, NEBB Institute, Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), and Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA).
Steve is based in Sudbury where he lives with his wife and two children.
